My favourite Fashion Week Internationale episode so far, where Charlet goes to Cambodia to check out the country’s first ever fashion week. I like that in this one she goes way beyond the event and looks into the garment industry, where heaps of poor village women work for peanuts to make clothes for the likes of H&M, the Gap, etc.

No such thing as planning ahead...
… in my family. Parents just called to tell me of a three-week long, family trip-around-indonesia that I should join them on. This will be the longest time I’ve spent with them in three years, since most breaks I take to see them are only 2 weeks long. I’ll be happy to see them, but I’m sure I’ll be exhausted by the end of the holiday!

Don’t usually reblog, but this is a worthy one. A Miss Flavia that I follow (I think she’s a film student?) made this short doco about young mum Emma Mathieson and her son Oliver. I remember seeing it a while ago on Flavia’s tumblr and being really touched by the story.
