I’m looking at renting an artist studio in this space, it has some lovely reverb.
Sui Zhen being cute.
More hippie weirdness for the day. He is milk bong lady’s husband/partner and I do believe he is a bit of douche.
Was looking for yoga techniques for beginners, because I feel like I should take up other forms of exercise that doesn’t make me want to kill myself, when I came across Daughter of the Sun’s blog and this picture that is apparently viral in the hippie circles (they use internet???).
Clearly this is anything but beginner yoga, but no denying this is totally amazing! Also, it seems she and everyone around her are always in various states of nakedness. [Adds to my ‘when I grow up’ goal]
Note: I saw comments describing the above pic as a ‘milk bong’. LULZ
Shameless self-promotion of the day: My somewhat-decent photos were used for a travel piece in iCreate Indonesia, a Mac magazine that also covers lifestyle stuff and whatnot. The article itself was written by Delima Shanti (an upcoming superstar writer/journalist/I’m not quite sure what she want to be when she grows up), and covers Melbourne, a place that I have long considered home. My pictures do not do justice to this city that I love so much, though Delima did an excellent job in highlighting what Melbourne has to offer.
Pictured (going clockwise) in the article is a Melbourne City Circle tram; a Melbourne Bike Share bike-rack; Degraves St; the inside of Manchaster Press; the outside of Pellegrini’s; the quintessentially Melbourne shot of Flinders St Station (unfortunately and annoyingly, with Eureka Tower poking out from behind, which is entirely my fault—I should have walked across the street to hide it from view); as well as the inside of Captains of industry. There’s more on the subsequent pages, mostly of Hosier Lane and Victoria Market, that I can’t post up.
My only regret is that I didn’t cross-process the hell out of these pictures.
Why thank you for the kind words Iqbal! It was great to have someone handy with a camera….
Have been considering putting up this story on my portfolio for a while, just because it’s kind of my first big magazine feature. Well….. except it was translated into Indonesian so I would feel like it’s not really my work or only 50% of my work.
It’s a travel piece in Melbourne, promoting the city as an alternative to the more popular destinations such as Gold Coast, Sydney, etc.
I might post up the original English version anyway just because it would make more sense to people likely to read my portfolio.
Sisqo - Unleash the Dragon
For my friends celebrating Chinese New Years. Totally remember watching a Sisqo concert on Channel V when I was 12. Aaahh the Thong Song, soundtrack to my adolescence…
Found an old Chemistry coursework on my back-up hard disk drive, along with my literary analysis comparing Clueless with Jane Austen’s Emma.
I used to be so smart! And what the hell is a sodium thiosulphate! Not sure how I scored in that coursework… but all that science talk my 15 year-old self is doing is definitely pretty impressive…
(I scored an A* in the literature essay, yay I’m a nerd!)
Happy Tuesday and thank you for your love.
